The raging antagonism between Churchill Show’s comedian Akuku Danger and socialite Vera Sidika has found a safe place in the shelves after flamboyant Kisumu tycoon offered to pay the comedian threefold for his services.
Kevin Were, an aspiring member of parliament for Kisumu Central who doubles up as the chief executive officer for Jadala restaurant had requested for sound system services offered by Akuku’s entertainment start-up dubbed Amplitude Events and Marketing.
When negotiating payment which the high-flying comedian charges Kenya Shillings 15,000, the generous tycoon instead handed him a Kenya Shillings is 70,000 cheque. An amount that is almost three times his service charge.
According to the budding politician, the extra cash was to bolster the comedian’s business and also to end his ugly social media spats with controversial socialite vera Sidika over a balance of Kenya Shillings 5,000 which Vera allegedly failed to disburse after she procured the comedian’s sound system services for her gender reveal party held in the posh Karen neighborhood.
The grateful comedian promised to bring to an end the online drama that escalated for days where intense character assassination dominated the heated exchange.
In the exchange that lasted for days, Vera faulted Akuku for being impatient and taking to social media to expose her for a small amount of money which she termed as mere pocket change.
On the other hand, the unflinching comedian reiterated that he was demanding what is rightfully his and was subjected to inhumane treatment by Vera’s drunk girlfriends and security yet she did not do anything despite witnessing the whole fracas.
